What type of detergent do you use?
Do you use fabric softener?
We do not use fabric softener.
What type of washer/dryer cycle do you use?
It depends. Generally we wash clothes on a delicate setting with cold water. For towels and bed linens we sometimes wash with a normal or bulky setting. When drying, we typically use a low or delicate setting for clothes and a normal setting for towels and bed linens. This approach supports the longevity of your laundry items. We recommend opting for hang drying when it comes to heat sensitive clothes.
What do I put my items in for pick-up?
We prefer that you place your items in a laundry bag for pick-up that will be returned to you upon drop off. If you don’t have a laundry bag, a garbage bag will do.
What if I’m not home for pick-up or drop-off?
If you’re not home for your scheduled pick-up, we ask that you please leave your laundry bag outside your front door in a place that is accessible. We’ll stop by and pick-up your bag with no extra hassle to you. If you’re not home during your scheduled drop off, we’ll leave your laundry in the same place we found it and send a picture to your email for confirmation. Our return bags are water proof so you don’t have to worry about rain!
What happens if I opt-in for same-day delivery but have clothes that need to be hang dried?
Hang dry items are not eligible for same-day delivery. If you accidentally included a hang dry item with a same day order, we unfortunately won’t be able to wash it. We will return it to you in a separate bag with a note stating why.
Do you dry clean?
We do not dry clean. We only provide washing and drying services at the moment.
What if an item is lost or damaged?
We are diligent in treating your clothes with the upmost respect and have crafted processes around doing so. By charging per item for our services, we have an itinerary of your order by default. All orders are tagged and kept separate from others and we continually cross reference the itinerary throughout the washing and drying process. Before washing and drying we always check tags on items to make sure they won’t be damaged by the laundry process. If somehow an accident still occurs, you may receive credit from us equal to the value of the item but not more than 5 times the value of the order.
How do I cancel an order?
You can request cancellation by filling out the cancellation form. You can find the form via the menu. Cancellations may be requested at anytime.
If I have to cancel my order, will I receive a refund?
Cancellations requested within 6 hours of the start of the scheduled pick-up window are not eligible for a refund. Cancellations requested prior to 6 hours before the start of the scheduled pick-up window are eligible for a full refund minus any payment processing fees. Please allow 5-7 business days for processing to see your refund returned back to your account.
What if my city is not included on the order form?
If the city you reside in is not included on the order form, then you are unfortunately located outside of our current service regions. We are always aiming to expand our coverage as we onboard new washers. Feel free to join our email list below to be notified when new cities are added! (We promise we won’t spam you.)
